Experimenting with Solar Energy

During the campaign, around 1,000 schools throughout Germany took the opportunity to compete for training systems and learning materials on the topic of photovoltaics. The main prize - a Solartrainer junior teaching and experimenting system - was presented to Bad Dürkheim Vocational School by Solar Experts Sonja Lenz and Erhard Renz and Managing Director of IKS Photovoltaik Holger Kunsch.

The second prize, a training case containing 30 PV training packages, went to Slomanstieg School in Hamburg. Ottobrunn Gymnasium (grammar school) in Munich won 30 entrance vouchers for the Intersolar 2011 international trade fair.
