Casing

Encapsulated in thermally toughened clear glass or with encapsulation the same as that of the modules.

Measured Voltage

  • around 100 mV (calibrated value) / 1000 W/m² and 25 °C
  • special shunt resistor with thermal connection to the casing.

Calibration

In accordance with EN DIN 17025, each ISET sensor is calibrated in W/m² by Fraunhofer IWES in Kassel using an identical control sensor (class A) from an accredited test laboratory. A calibration certificate documents the technical parameters for each individual product. Measurement uncertainty ± 4 % (crystalline), ± 5 % (amorphous)
